Ali is the founder and head curator for the Victoria Short Film Festival - an event and community aiming to represent emerging artists who are expressing themselves, and the important ideas of our era through experimental, creative documentary, artistic, and subtle short films. After brilliant success in our first year with over 100 submissions and a sold out event, we look to the future with a vision for community, education, and exploration of video art’s roll in counter hegemony and defining the narratives of our time.
